NOVEMBER 04, 2022 – The Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF), in partnership with Philippine Constructors Association Inc. (PCA) and Bentley Education, organized the first-ever Skills Olympics Digital Bridge Design and Prototype Construction Competition, and it was concluded last 04 November 2022 at the PhilConstruct Manila, held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, Pasay City.

The Competition aims to bridge the gap between the knowledge acquired by civil engineering students in schools and the technical competencies required in the construction industry while unlocking their creativity and innovation potential. Fifteen (15) universities from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao joined the competition, where they will experience realistic bridge design and construction on a small scale. Their performance throughout the competition will determine which three (3) teams will advance to the final phase, where the Grand Champion will be crowned.
