1. How do you conduct your programs during this COVID-19 pandemic? ▾

Since mass gatherings, including face-to-face classes, are still prohibited and highly discouraged, CMDF redesigned its usual offerings from classroom-type, face-to-face seminars into webinars using the Zoom platform. Assessment and certification activities for managerial and supervisory programs are also being administered virtually. Considering the limitations of online classes in the performance of hands-on activities, i.e., welding exercises, CMDF has yet to convert its skills upgrading courses into virtual formats.

2. Do you offer your courses on an on-demand basis? ▾

Currently, CMDF only offers its courses in a synchronous format-courses. It is transmitted online at a defined date and time. But the Agency is in the works to provide training asynchronously. CMDF Trainings can soon be readily available online, which can be accessed by users anytime, anywhere.

3. How much does it cost to train my people? Do you provide free training? ▾

Regular training and certification programs of CMDF are not free of charge but are offered at subsidized rates. You may reach us through cmdf@construction.gov.ph to discuss custom training proposals for your organization. On some occasions, CMDF, together with our industry partners, does offer free seminars and training. Announcements are usually posted on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/DTI.CIAP.CMDF

4. What is the minimum and maximum number of participants for in-company training? ▾

For practicality and manageability, the prescribed number of participants is 12 (minimum) to 25 (maximum). The maximum number was decided in consideration of maintaining optimal speaker-participants interaction; and for effective proctoring.

5. Are CMDF-awarded certifications recognized overseas? ▾

Currently, CMDF certifications are recognized at the national level. In a bid to enhance the global competitiveness of our workforce, CMDF is working to provide access to Filipinos to a globally consistent yet locally responsive personnel certification system by employing reliable competency assessment methodologies based on the principles and requirements of ISO/IEC 17024:2012 Standard. Upon obtaining the 17024 accreditation, certifications awarded by CMDF can help facilitate the cross-border practice of the profession.

6. Can I request a replacement for a lost or damaged certificate? ▾

For Lost or Damaged Certificate, please complete the following requirements: (1.) Individuals need to fill-out the Application Form for Replacement of Damaged or Lost Certificate. (Check Forms Tab) (For Lost Certificate - submit Notarized Affidavit of Loss, For Damaged Certificate - present damaged Certificate) (2.) Original deposit slip of Php 200.00 for the Processing Fee Landbank, Account Name: CMDF, Account Number: 0052-1073-18 (3.) Request letter addressed to: Engr. Rene E. Fajardo Executive Director III, CMDF. After completing requirements, send it to: 5th Floor Executive Bldg, 369 Sen. Gil Puyat J. Ave. Makati City c/o Rea Muñoz, 8511-1054 / 8890-1610

7. Can I sign-up for a training and certification program even if I do not meet the eligibility requirements? ▾

The eligibility requirement applies to the certification component of the program. Ineligible individuals will not be endorsed as certification candidates. If you want to enrich your competency in a particular discipline, you can register in the program's training component.

8. Do you offer CPD-accredited programs? ▾

Yes. CMDF is an accredited CPD provider by the Professional Regulation Commission. Our programs, however, are applied for accreditation on a case-to-case basis. It usually depends on the demand or the request of clients. For in-company engagements, a lead time of at least twenty (20) working days is required to process the application if the organization wishes the program to be CPD-accredited.

9. Do I need to renew my AMO Certification? ▾

AMO Certification does not expire. The certification, however, may be revoked from the holder for violation of the contractors' license law or the constructors' code of ethics.
