CMDF marked a milestone as it successfully conducted the inaugural run of the Drone 102: Drone Operation for Project Inspectors Course at the Construction Manpower Development Center (CMDC), CMDF’s training center in Dasmarinas Cavite last November 20-21, 2023.
Drone 102 is the second installment in CMDF’s Drone series. Beyond fundamental flight skills, the course explores the role of drone technology in the context of inspection focusing on leveraging the advanced technologies embedded within drones to optimize project inspection.
This marks the fifth collaboration between the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and CMDF, with DOLE consistently tapping into CMDF’s expertise for Drone Seminars. These seminars empower DOLE personnel and officers with the knowledge and skills to enhance safety and health inspections across diverse work environments.
Nine (9) DOLE personnel participated in the seminar guided by CMDF Drone trainers, Engr. Anthony Von Ryan Panelo, Mr. Jan Amiel de Leon, and Mr. Michael John Cataquian reinforcing the practical application of drone technology in inspection operations.
