The Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB), in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD), invites you to the Focus Group Discussion on S&T for Construction Materials and Services scheduled on 30 September 2022, Friday, at 2:00 pm via Zoom.
Anchored on the Philippine Construction Industry Roadmap 2020-2030 under the Sustainability & Resiliency action plan, this FGD aims to gather inputs and recommendations on research and development (R&D) priorities specifically on the use of alternative sustainable building materials and technologies while ensuring mutual and strengthened collaboration in R&D including promotion and commercialization or adoption.
The outputs from this consultation meeting will serve as the starting point in identifying the priority list of construction/building materials which can be recommended for formulation of product standards, among others.
