Job Description
Min. Qualification Standard:
- Degree in Accounting
- With at least 4 years of relevant work experience
- With relevant tax trainings
Job Description:
- Shall report to CIAP office daily within the engagement period or until the BIR tax
assessment/deficiency taxes are closed/compromised.
- Review the validity and legality of the assessment notices received by CIAP.
- Review the current tac structure of CIAP and recommend, if necessary, the change in registration as indicated in the BIR Certificate of Registration (COR). Similarly, collate, compile and prepare all necessary documents needed for the change in the CIAP’s COR and coordinate with the BIR for the change.
- Review the tax assessment received by CIAP, provide the necessary clerical and technical works in the gathering of relevant data pertaining to the tax assessment, discrepancies, and deficiency taxes; reconciliation of data and preparation necessary ledgers presenting the differences in the accounting books and tax assessments received; drafting the necessary reply(ies) and coordination to the BIR pertaining to the tax assessment received.
- Coordinate with the CIAP-AFMD Accounting Section on the gathering of accounting data needed for the reconciliation
- Liaise with BIR on the tax assessment, discussion discrepancy, and other requirements, together with a CIAP authorized representative.
- Draft necessary protest letters or other documents for the revenue office with valid arguments and supporting legal basis to request for reconsideration and recommend compromised
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned pertaining to tax assessment.

- Performance Appraisal (Individual Dashboard) for the last rating period, if government employee
