The training program featured interactive sessions and exercises ensuring that the participants gained useful insights applicable to real-life scenarios in construction.
The participants expressed their appreciation for the concise and informative nature of the training. Many highlighted the value of understanding CIAP Document 102 as the accepted industry practices and how it could be integrated into their respective academic curricula to professionalize future engineers and architects in the administration of construction contracts and the use of CIAP Document 102.
“We will continue to conduct the CIAP Document 102 information sessions in collaboration with you, our partner agencies and organizations,” said Atty. Herbert DG. Matienzo, Philippine Contractor’s Accreditation Board (PCAB) Executive Director and CIAP Officer-in-Charge, in closing. “Long term, we envision the integration of the CIAP Document 102 to the syllabus and/or program of every educational institution in the Philippines, particularly in architecture and engineering courses.”
