The training was held on 19-21 February 2025 at the NIA-UPRIIS Training Center in Cabanatuan City, graced by NIA Senior Deputy Administrator, Engr. Robert C. Suguitan.
The 3-day event covers lecture, mock CPES evaluation, and case study examination. All 35 participants have successfully passed and satisfy all the requirements, and are officially accredited as CPES evaluators and included in the PDCB roster.
CPES is a system of grading the performance of a constructor for a specific kind of project using a set of criteria, which is used for ensuring that only competent constructors participate in public bidding for government infrastructure projects and in ensuring that the infra projects conform with the specified requirements.
NIA-UPRIIS is fully committed to implement CPES ensuring quality and transparency in the implementation of irrigation projects within its jurisdiction.
NIA has been PDCBโs proactive partner in ensuring sustained success and credibility of the CPES program and is a major contributor to the updating of the CPES Guidelines for the Implementation of Infrastructure Projects and the CPES Checklists.
