CMDF was recognized for Level 2 – Proficiency in Quality Management in the 24th Philippine Quality Awards (PQA) Conferment Ceremony for 2021. The Ceremony was held virtually last March 23, 2022 where Undersecretary Rafaelita Aldaba, Assistant Secretary Napoleon Juanillo, Jr., and Director Lilian G. Salonga lead the celebration of the milestones of recipient organizations. President Rodrigo Duterte, DTI Sec. Ramon M. Lopez, and Regional Operations Group Undersecretary Blesila A. Lantayona also graced the event through recorded messages.
Board Chairman Augusto F. Manalo, Executive Director Rene E. Fajardo and Division Chief Ofelia R. Usigan received the award in behalf of CMDF. Engr. Fajardo highlighted the importance of quality to the Board considering its vision to become the lead agency in construction human resources development. “It is through that vision that we understand how the quality of our services and processes can take us from where we are to our vision.”
The Philippine Quality Awards (PQA) is a national award program that recognizes achievements of public and private sector organizations in their journey towards performance excellence. The objectives of PQA are aligned with CMDF’s aim to help the Philippines develop a globally competitive construction workforce. This recognition shall strengthen CMDF as it moves toward that goal.
