READ: CIAP Document 102 Trainers’ Training Certification Program (TTCP) | September 2022

The Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB), in partnership with the Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF), is conducting its first CIAP Document 102 Trainers’ Training Certification Program (TTCP) this coming 12-16 & 21 September 2022, with an aim to create a pool of trainers that have expert knowledge and actual experience using CIAP Document 102, and who will serve as Resource Persons for webinars and trainings on CIAP Document 102 that will be organized by the PDCB, with the end-goal of increasing the marketability of the document and making it the norm in construction of any type of structure or works as contemplated in RA 4566.

In accordance with Section 2(f) of Presidential Decree No. 1746 to recommend and encourage the adoption of equitable and realistic contract conditions for construction, the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) approved the adoption of the Uniform General Conditions of Contract for Private Construction or the “CIAP Document 102” to embody the conditions or stipulations ordinarily established in private construction contracts in the Philippines.

The PDCB, is in partnership with the CMDF, designed this Trainers’ Training Program for industry stakeholders, such as owners, contractors, project managers, contracts engineers, who are equipped with the technical knowledge and experience using the document and possess the competencies required of an effective Trainer for the promotion of CIAP Document 102.
