JULY 18, 2022 –The Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB), through the Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF), offered a Constructors Performance Evaluation System – Trainers’ Training and Certification Program (CPES-TCP) last 11-18 July 2022 with the aim of nationwide development of Constructors Performance Evaluators (CPEs) and to increase the pool of competent industry trainers.

A total of 27 CPES Evaluators underwent the training, representing various government sectors nationwide. CPEs, which are accredited by CIAP’s PDCB, are tasked to undertake performance evaluation of construction projects using the CPES Guidelines and/or evaluation requirements of the construction industry. The CPES-TCP shall transform the evaluators into trainers, equipping them with the skills necessary to train and influence generations of industry members.

The training component was led by Trainer Engr. Rodolfo Menguita with the expertise of Assessors Engr. Agustin Torres and Engr. Noel Yambao for the certification component.

To cap off the success of the trainees, a graduation ceremony was held at St. Giles Makati Hotel last July 27, 2022 in the presence of CIAP Executive Director-In-Charge Ms. Doris U. Gacho, CMDF Executive Director Engr. Rene E. Fajardo, and CMDF Chief Ms. Ofelia R. Usigan.

The Trainers’ Training and Certification Program is a program of the CMDF which aims to develop a pool of proficient industry trainers who can transfer their skills and knowledge to a wider audience.
