The Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF) and Sika Philippines
Incorporated (SPI) held a virtual signing ceremony to finalize their Memorandum of Agreement last July 02, 2021. Through this agreement, CMDF and SPI shall enable accelerated and expanded delivery of industry-supported training programs that are geared towards enhancing employability and career development of construction professionals and workers.
SPI, a specialty chemicals company servicing residential and commercial building, mining,
automotive, industrial manufacturing and Infrastructure projects, intends to conduct webinars for construction workers and professionals with the help of CMDF. Three titles are on the works for on August, October, and December 2021 with the following topics, respectively: Technologies on Concrete Protective Coatings, Material Selection on Concrete Repair, Technical Discussion on Flooring Technologies.
Present in the signing ceremony were SPI General Manager Mr. Christophe Lejeune, Senior
Manager Ms. Alainne Leonardo and Supervisor Engr. Christian Dimalibot. CMDF was led by its Executive Director, Engr. Rene E. Fajardo, Conformity Assessment and Certification Division (CACD) Chief Ms. Penny Usigan with the supervision of CMDF Board Member, Engr. Peter Paul P. Dy, Jr.
