Job Qualification
Min. Qualification Standard:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: Familiarity with Gender and Development (GAD); Has good technical writing skills
Training: Has undergone GAD Training/Seminars
Eligibility: None Required
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinate and provide technical support in policy development, analysis and advocacy, research, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of gender mainstreaming efforts;
- Assist and coordinate with the concerned units in the formulation of GAD Plan and Budget;
- Draft GAD related policies;
- Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of GAD program, activities and projects (PAPs) and ensure that they meet GAD commitment and objectives;
- Assist in the evaluation of GAD PAPs.
- Ensure timely compliance with reportorial requirements on Women and Commission on Audit;
- Conduct assessment and research activities to gather information on gender and competition, Assist in the secretariat functions of the GFPS Technical Working Group (TWG);
- Consolidate GAD Accomplishment Report in accordance with the guidelines set by the relevant oversight government agencies;
- Draft project proposal and/or activity designs on GAD-related PAPs, and
- Perform other related task as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
