The Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP), together with its implementing arms, held a Special Flag Raising Ceremony in celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month with the theme β€œπ‘³π’†π’‚π’… π’π’Šπ’Œπ’† π’•𝒉𝒆 π‘©π’‚π’ƒπ’‚π’šπ’π’‚π’π’”, π‘π’Šπ’π’Šπ’‘π’Šπ’π’‚π’”!” on 9 March 2026.

In his special message, CIAP Executive Director Atty. Mark Brian A. Dela Cruz highlighted that leadership is strongest when it is inclusive, equitable, and empowering, thereby allowing women to contribute, lead, and drive progress. He encouraged everyone to draw inspiration from the Babaylans.

In a special video message, Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) Chairperson Ermelita V. Valdeavilla emphasized how institutions like the CIAP have shown how gender-responsive policies and capacity-building initiatives, such as technical training, mentorship, and inclusive programs, can empower women to thrive, lead, and innovate in the field.

As part of the agency’s celebration, interactive activities such as the Musika ni Juana at Juan Songwriting Contest were organized for CIAP employees. Creative expressions of support for gender equality were showcased by the participants through photography and music, reinforcing CIAP’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering workplace.

CIAP continues to strengthen its commitment in promoting gender equality in the workplace and in the construction industry.
